Despite its design being based on the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Tokyo Tower (333m/1098ft) is 9 meters taller than the Eiffel, making it the world’s highest self-supporting iron tower and the tallest structure in Tokyo. The prices for admission into the main observatory deck (150m) are 820yen for adults and 460yen for those in elementary and middle schools. Personally, I think Tokyo Tower is better to look at than looking from it, saving you the cost. But I guess you can say that you’ve been to the tower.
