Kamakura Beach Party

Its time again for one of the best summer parties of the year. The Kamakura Beach Party! Last year this group raised JPY 600,000 for Charity and had a great time partying on the beach. We expect this year to be bigger and better. For more info, see the website for details and pictures.

Details are:

Date: Saturday August 25
Time: from 11 am to 9 pm
Place: The MTV Axe Quicksilver Beach House, Yuigahama Beach, Kamakura (map on website)
Cost: pay at the door JPY 2,500 for men and JPY 2,000 for woman
All proceeds to be donated to the Christina Noble Foundation.

We know it’s hot, but it may be the last weekend on the beach! Have fun for a good cause!

Azabu Juban Festival 2007 – Popular festival in Azabu-Juban

One of the most famous summer festivals in Tokyo is the Juban Festival (Juban Matsuri). The festival features Marching bands, shops, shows, international bazaar, etc. Over the next two weeks, we will feature some of the events and its locations.

We have mapped out almost 800 locations in Azabu-Juban area, so you can use our mobile site to find places. Just type in the name of the location or by category (e.g. italian azabujuban). First of all, here is a list of marching bands. The parade kicks off at 3:00PM.
