Actually, looks like they have added some English now. The original post was in 2006. Good info about the hiring.

I was a bit shocked to read about Nerima Ward Office not having an English Web Page, but do you know that Nerima Ward is the only ward to hire foreigners from it’s ward as English Teachers, no other ward does that.
They all give it to a Job Agency.

This app looks great! The info on where on the platform to stand for the next transfer point, and the listing of the station exits are incredible and go far beyond and Tokyo transit site or app I’ve seen. Only problem is I have switched to Android! If you decide to do an Android port I would gladly pay for this app.

Thanks Peter. You points are well taken. We actually plan to add a search function as there will be more stations added. As for searching via final destination, such as Tokyo University, that would be pretty cool and we will keep that in mind. Keep those comments coming!
